Would you consider becoming a First Things First Regional Council Member?
An invitation to the Community from First Things First:
"First Things First works to ensure that all children in Arizona under six have the tools they need to start kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. FTF’s Regional Partnership Councils – comprised of community volunteers – play a critical role in meeting this important goal. The Regional Councils are the decision makers- they identify the needs of children under six in their communities, decide what strategies to fund in their area, work with local stakeholders, and collaborate with area agencies to make the most efficient use of resources.
Serving on a Regional Council takes about 10 hours per month, but the impact lasts a lifetime. There are currently positions open on First Things First Regional Partnership Councils statewide, representing many fields. Regional Council members must have expertise in their area and the dedication and determination necessary to effect true change for our children.
I am sure that many of you would be ideal candidates. If you would be interested in learning more about becoming a First Things First Regional Council member, please visit www.azftf.gov/apply. If you know someone else who may make a good candidate, please forward this to them.
Helping kids have what they need to be successful in school and in life takes each of us doing our part. Thank you in advance for your desire to make a difference!"
